[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The volumizing mouse helped my hair to have extra volume when it usually is pretty flat. It held throughout the day and I didn't need to use much. It didn't make my hair feel heavy when it was in and I didn't notice residue after.

Tricky but effective for highlighted hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] As someone with fine, dark brown hair with light blonde highlights, I already use a ton of product to add moisture and maintain sleek strands, so adding another product like mousse to the mix was tricky. It definitely adds volume, but is not a sticky as your typical moose. I don't think it was moisturizing, but keep in mind highlighted hair is a completely different animal. The next day, my hair had a very nice wave and was really pretty. I tried using a lot once and my hair was unruly so I don't recommend that. To make this product work best, I would use it sparingly in the morning, ideally in the summer, with time to air dry, and add additional moisturizing product throughout the day. Love that package is sustainable. The pump works very well and it is not messy to dispense. I barely noticed a scent.

I am reviewing this Volumizing Mousse by Matrix. I was gifted this product for my honest review. I did like the way this Mousse gave my hair more volume. It also helped give my curls more definition. I didn't find this product to have a distinct smell so I can't comment on that. This time I let my hair air dry and next time I will use the diffuser to see if there is any difference. I would recommend this product to girls with curls or waves.
