Reformulation is Drug Store Quality
Original Mega Sleek was one of the best on the market. Since the April 2026 reformulation, the quality is comparable to Garnier Fructis or any other drug store brand. Don't bother. So sad and dissapointing. Bring it back ):

Hate the new formula! Please change it back.
I hope Matrix sees all these 1 star reviews for the new formula. The scent is now way too strong, my hair doesn't feel good when rinsing out the conditioner nor dried, and I noticed a zit on the back of my neck yesterday (not sure if it is related but wouldn't be surprised). Please change it back.
I love this product
Been use it for month, I like the packaging so easy to squeeze out the product, easy to rinse with warm water. Worth it the money you spend. I use the whole combo and turn out good result
New formula has my hair falling out
I have been using Matrix mega sleek for 5 years now and it was one of the only products that would work for my sensitive hair and skin. Since the new formula change my hair has lost a third of its density and constantly feels like my hair is more dried out. Im devastated over this and will be back to looking for a new brand to use.
