Sun Bum Tinted Lip Balm — Bonfire
This stuff should come with a warning label. Flavor / Scent: Sun Bum's signature coconut-vanilla scent isn't subtle here — it slams your senses the moment you uncap it. If sweetness were a physical force, this would knock you backward. It's overly synthetic and intrusive, more like sniffing a gallon...

Better, but could be improved
This Sun Bum Tinted Moisturizing Sunscreen Lip Balm in the shade Bonfire has broad spectrum SPF 30 and a sheer tinted finish. It isn't super pigmented, in fact I would say this lip balm barely has any tint, but it will appear more opaque the more you apply. The color claims to be a soft mauve tint, ...

Needs improvement
So pretty and glossy but pills up so bad it's kind of gross. I got a little in my mouth and the after taste is so bad. Tastes like chemical sunscreen. I really like the colors though and it did moisturize my lips
Did I get something different from other reviewers?
This was leaking when it got here. I cleaned it up and made sure the cap was nice and tight, and then it still kept leaking. I had to throw it out because the whole purpose of having a tinted sun balm for my lips is to keep it in my purse.
tastes terrible
I know spf generally doesn't taste good, but now that there are so many great lip products with spf that taste neutral, I just can't handle a nasty tasting lip balm regardless of sun protection.
Too thick
This gloss is pretty upon application but after a while it gets too thick and uncomfortable.
Love it. So smooth but

Love it. So smooth but not sticky. And such a pretty summer color.

Is this lip treatment noncomedogenic?
- Asked by Kate
- Official Answer By Sun Bum - Brand EngageHi there! Because lips don't have pores, most lip products are not certified as non-comedogenic. However, we totally understand the skin surrounding your lips can be sensitive or acne-prone so this distinction is important. Our Lip Balm does include coconut oil, so if that isn't something that works with your skin, we recommend patch testing or consulting a derm to see if this would work for you. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to reach out! xo, SBWas this answer helpful to you
