in short, i did see some improvements but i would only stick to the red + NIR for at least 10 mins 4-5 days a week. I purchased during the 21 DOB sale and for that price i would recommend.. otherwise for basically $400 I'd skip and buy from another brand. Pros: -I did actually see improvements in my skin! I used the red+NIR lights 4-5 days /week at the highest setting for a month. I noticed less redness and my acne became less intense. my dark circles also noticeably faded and my skin was overall more glowy :). -The controller also includes a timer which is a plus and i liked that the webbed mask allowed kept it from getting hot. -Red & NIR are listed at the correct wavelengths Cons: -Blue is listed as 465nm. Most studies show 415 to be more effective at reducing acne. and higher wavelengths can actually cause hyperpigmentation. And there is very little evidence for amber/yellow light. -No irradiance listed anywhere. Irradiance is actually a big component as to whether a mask is actually effective or not. I contacted Lumina NRG to ask but they didn't even know what I was talking about and couldn't give me an answer. Eventually I THINK i was able to find it through some FDA documentation (but not 100% if it's for this mask) and it's around 30 mW/cm^2 for red+NIR… which is not bad but i wish they would include this in the description. -the controller began malfunctioning after a couple weeks. For these reasons I did return the mask and purchased another that does disclose irradiance and has a 2 yr warranty.

Just bought this mask two weeks ago so cant comment on it's efficiency yet but wanted to complain about the straps lol I got it on sale but for a $400+ mask you would expect higher quality straps. What you get is thin foamy material with velcro at the ends. The contrast of the black straps and pink mask makes it feel like youre wearing something cheap.

I have this mask and another brand. This one is soooo much more uncomfortable than the other. The eye holes hurt it pushes against my mouth. Doesnt sit right. Definitely returning.

This mask is not very comfortable especially around the eye area. Not sure if I received a returned item but everything was outside packaging. Instructions are not very thorough
