Easy to use and flattering
I have received the Morphe Solo Artist Priming Cream Eyeshadow in the shade Remix for free in exchange for my review. Remix is a cool toned dark brown shade. My understanding is that this can be a two in one, a primer or used as a cream eyeshadow or both depending on the look you are trying to cre...

Beautiful Shade, But Performance Falls Short
I was drawn to the Solo Artist Priming Cream Eyeshadow in 'Mixtape' due to its dual-purpose claim as both a primer and a standalone eyeshadow. The shade "Mixtape" is indeed a lovely neutral, offering a versatile hue suitable for various looks. However, I encountered some issues with its performance....

dry, thin, hard to blend, too dry even for oily eyelids
Of course I was hoping these would be similar to the eternally beloved Mac paint pots, but alas... These are thin and dry. They just dry down too quickly, which makes them hard to blend and hard to work with. They need to be a tiny bit richer and creamier. I have middle aged, slightly textured hooded eyelids that are perpetually oily, and this is way too dry even for me. The lightest color just gives chalky unflattering texture. Fail.
it creases
I don't understand the high ratings for this product, had hoped to use it as an eyeshadow primer but this creases within the first hour of wear. I have tried using less and more product, trying to see if that makes a difference but it creases on me regardless
Great product!

It set my eyeshadow for the day! I was in Florida heat and my eye shadow was in tact throughout the day. 100% will use it again.
Not good for older lids
This was very dry and made my eyelids look too wrinkled.
Not blendable at all
This is very dry and cakey. The lighter color wasn't as bad, but the darker brown was awful. Could not get it to move at all, even with sheered down application with ring finger. These were, sadly, throw aways for me.
