What happened to the formula?
This has been my go-to duo for years, but recently I noticed a change in the formula for the conditioner. It used to be super creamy and nourishing, but now it's all loose and runny. It's not doing much for my hair, but it leaves my shower covered in orange goop. Sadly I'll have to make a change.

I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner set and I will buy it over and over! I've gone through 3 of the standard size sets and whole refill bag of the shampoo (prior to discontinuation). I use it in cojunction with my prescription 2% ketoconazole shampoo or Nizoral 1% ketoconazole shampoo which takes care of the the malassezia overgrowth problem that I have. Using this shampoo and conditioner set helps to further balance my scalp between ketoconazole washes and helps my scalp remain under control for longer. There are a lot of nuances to my routine when it comes to my itchy, flaky scalp, but I have noticed that when I gravitate away from using this shampoo and conditioner I notice a difference. The shampoo doesn't lather like most shampoos, so I will make sure my hair is saturated with water and lather the shampoo in my hands before I apply it to my hair and scalp. I love how clean my scalp feels when I use this shampoo. If you read the directions, the conditioner is actually meant to be applied to your scalp unlike other conditioners that should just stay on your ends. I apply the conditioner to my ends and use the leftovers and what I can squeeze from my ends to apply to my scalp and the upper length of my hair. I have fine and thin hair so I find that if I use too much of the conditioner on my scalp and too high up in my hair that it will weigh it my hair down a bit. It's a great conditioner. What drew me in was the scent profile and the stellar reviews, but this has absolutely become pivotal in my scalp care routine; and I'm sitting here regretting that I don't have any right now. I'm dreaming of how good it smells for hours after a shower! Just buy it!
horrible reaction
my scalp became oily after getitng off birth control and i bought this duo to help. i have had horrible allergic reactions on my scalp - itching, pain, and redness. my hair also never feels clean after use and it does not help with oil production at all. i love other products from this brand, but this one is not it

I thought this would be good for me because it says oil control. Its more like oil stripper. I have been using it now for a month. And it has DRIED out my hair. I will brush it and 30 minutes later its like i have a rats nest in my hair. My hair never used to be like that. I have tried using leave in and hair oil to help it not be so dry but nothing is helping. I was so excited about this brand cause ive heard good things but now im just upset because i spent good money on something that messed up my hair real bad. Maybe its just the superfoods line but… i think im not gonna get this brand anymore.
Horrible allergy
I got a horrible allergic reaction from using this. My scalp and any part of skin that came in contact with it became so unbearbly itchy. Threw it out & would not recommend given the limited benefits
