Starting with half a pump, dispense foundation onto the back of your hand or directly onto your tool of choice (Rare Beauty recommends the Liquid Touch Foundation Brush or Soft Touch Makeup Blending Sponge), then tap or sweep onto the face in even layers, building as desired.

Great for oily skin but oxidizes
I was excited to try this foundation because I have oily skin and large pores. I'm 64 and have a very good skincare routine and do know how to do good skin prep, and try this both with and without a light gel moisturizer underneath as well as with the Rare Beauty poor diffusing primer and without it...

Wanted to love
I was looking forward to this foundation since it's highly rated and the shade match was perfect but after a few wears this is just not meant for oily skin. Even after trying different primers, setting powders and sprays, it still transferred easily. I also experienced some blotchy patches and extra creasing. So disappointed that it didnt work out
My go too
I usef to swear by KVD but saw a tik tok on the matte Rare Beauty and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. This is hands down the best matte foundation that I have ever used! The shade matches fairly nice but not 100%. Tris foundation actually stays on my oily skin all say without separating. Its a must have!
Long Wear and Great Bottle
I love the mechanism that locks the bottle, but be warned it did explode a little on a flight so maybe decant if you're traveling by plane. It wears very well on my oily acne prone skin and gently fades throughout the day without flaking or caking.
Great product for oily T zone!!
This product is great for mature skin with oily T zone. I have tried all brands of foundation trying to find something that does not separate/oxidizes. I paired this with Hourglass Vanish Primer & Charlotte Tilbury Matte set spray.. Flawless finish!!

I really enjoyed wearing this foundation because it has such great coverage and it was very blurring on my skin. I really love how it's self setting because I tend to get oily throughout the day but I did not with this foundation! The sponge gives such a skin like finish and I really enjoyed using them together.
