I bought this foundation two separate times and had to return both bottles because the undertones skewed very yellow and orange. Great formula, but terrible shade range
I bought this foundation two separate times and had to return both bottles because the undertones skewed very yellow and orange. It was odd because it didn't appear that way when I tried them in store. This makes no sense because the shades I tried supposedly had a cool undertone. Coming from a prestige brand, it's quite disappointing that they don't provide correct and consistent undertones, especially in the deeper end of the shade range. It sucks because the formula is top-tier, but the shade range and undertones are embarrassingly terrible.
Get what you pay for type of foundation
I bit the bullet and purchased this after reading reviews. I'm obsessed with expensive makeup and I've tried every brand worth trying (NARS, Estee Lauder, MAC, Jones Road, Clinique, Tarte, the list goes on and on). Finally, a foundation that I'm not mad at myself for spending the money on!! I stopped wearing foundation because it was settling in my fine lines so I was doing concealer only pretty successfully. But I'm not even kidding when I say, you put this on and you notice the difference and how good it is immediately. I also matched myself perfectly on the first try with the help of Chanel's website which is a feat on its own, and grateful I'm I don't need to go exchange this. I'm 35 years old with combo-ish skin, my fine lines/crows feet are really coming in (also spending tons of money on skin care to lessen this :( this foundation basically makes my lines disappear and makes me feel like myself again. It's worth every penny. Buy it now.

I was skeptical to try this. I am 56 with combination, sensitive skin and this foundation looks amazing. The coverage is buildable and the ingredients work well for me and do not cause a reaction. There is a scent, but it does not bother me as it fades quickly. I am wearing this foundation in the cooler months, but I can already tell it will hold up well in the warmer, humid months here in Florida. I'm glad a took a chance and tried this foundation, it has become my favorite.

I'm a daily wearer of makeup and this is my go to. I have combo skin and with the proper prep, it lasts all day even with the humid weather. I wear this year round.
