Apply a generous amount of foam to a tanning mitt and use circular motions to spread evenly. Take extra care around hands, feet, wrists, and knuckles, buffing these areas thoroughly with excess self-tanner on the mitt. For ultra-dark results, apply one layer, wait 30 minutes, then apply a second layer for deeper color. Layering can be done on the same day, just ensure every layer is dry before applying your next coat, or the next day.
