First off, I will same the name and the way this formula comes out of the tube is spot on. It looks so much like frosting. However, when I rub it in, it doesn't feel like it absorbs deep into the skin. It kind of absorbs a little and then the rest sits on top and is kind of oily/sticky which is not for me. For someone like me who has dry skin, it does not hydrate my skin enough. I can get away with body cremes, lotions and body butters this time of year but this one did not do it for me. It doesn't matter how much I applied either, I mean just for my skin to feel okay, I had to pile it on. The smell is also, a little off, there is not enough vanilla in my opinion. It's not a warm enough smell for me to consider it a "Vanilla Hug". Overall, this product is just not for me. I gave it a solid go, the tube is over halfway gone.

I am a big fan if Philosophy products, and have purchased many throughout the years. So I really thought I would love the Philosophy Whipped Body Creme in Vanilla Hug. Unfortunately, this product is not for me. For one thing, when I applied it I had difficulty rubbing it into my skin, and then later it pilled up! I really prefer products that are easy to apply and sink it right away. I also didn't love this fragrance. Normally, I am a vanilla girly, but there was just something about this vanilla fragrance that didn't work for me. I think it has an unsual woody note or something. My favorite part of this product was actually the packaging. I loved how this product has an opening like a frosting tip, so when you squeeze it out it comes out looking like cupcake frosting. I have never seen a product have something like that before, and I thought it was so cute. Overall, this product was unfortunately a miss for me, but I will sti be reaching for my tried and true Philosophy favorites.

This lotion feels so nice and moisturizing without being heavy or greasy! It dries quickly and feels nice on the skin. I don't love the scent and it seems to smell a little artificial when you first apply it but later improves and it stays on you for awhile. It could be more luxurious moisturizer.

I liked the feel of the product and the packaging. The smell was just a copy of Sol de Janeiro imo. For a new unreleased product I feel like that's not exciting. If it was a different smell I'd be more interested.

Loved this body creme! The scent is light, but very enjoyable - smells clean and not artificial. It reminds me of a summer day at the beach! I felt moisturized all day, but it was easy to apply and dried down nicely. I liked that the body creme was in a tube and not a jar, like usual.
