Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique: Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of cream through each section. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

Great for dry winter days
I use Ouidad's humidity gel during humid summer days but I recently discovered this product. I'm obsessed. It's perfect for drier fall/winter days. My hair type is fine, wavy 2b/2c hair that is susceptible to frizz and puffiness. This creme handles that!

I've got naturally curly, frizzified hair and I'm forever looking for a product that can give me ringlets without making my hair dry and crunchy. This isn't it. It works well enough to banish frizz, but my hair is crunchy to the touch when it dries. I'd rather have touchable hair with some frizz.

Fine & Low Porosity Curly Hair
i was recommended not use heavy leave in products on my hair because of my hair type. so if that is you. use this! i will use a small amount and apply to the ends of my hair to refresh my curls! if they start looking a little dry or frizzy. it is lightweight, smells great and not greasy. it brings life back to my hair without applying water. or you can spray your hair with water and then apply to the areas that need it. i have also tried this product after the shower followed up with the humidity gel and my hair loves it!
Not as a styler, as a finisher.
I do not use this as a styler, it has no hold and makes my hair so frizzy. But once dry and styled, it is so far the best thing I have found to refresh mid-day, once my hair is all the way dry. Just rub some in your hands, and wipe it over the hair, flip over and wipe it over the hair, praying hands it - always moving in the direction downward. Resist the urge to scrunch at all - it will not flatten your curls, just help them look more defined. Doesn't feel gunky and does make my hair look more finished and curly. For reference, I have loose but stubborn curls, very coarse (thick individual hairs) and very non-porous. So it may not work if your hair is fine, but if it's thick and coarse and you don't like it for a styler, try it as a finish/refresh product.

This climate control, styling cream works really great on humid days on my fine , very curly , shoulder length hair. I use it with Curl Smith styling soufflé, and it really keeps the frizz away.

Does this product protect from the heat of a blow dryer. The description on Ouidad website says it gives some heat protection but it doesn't say that in the description on here or on the bottle . I used it while blow drying and my hair feels great but I don't want heat damage.

Does this product help define curls or just reduce frizz? My hair is in between waves and curls and I need something to push it to the curly side. (It curls in the front but just waves in the back *insert rolling eye emoji*). Also, some people say it's a flexible hold and some says it makes their hair crunchy. Which is it because I'm not a fan of the crunch..
