Was skeptical, but it works better than anything I've used

Trying to transition into a more sustainable lifestyle, I wanted to try shampoo and conditioner bars. My hair: I have never felt my hair was oily before. It is incredibly thick and decently long (goes to my natural waist). My hair is also lightly dyed. I bought the sampler pack and thought for s...ure one of the other two shampoo bars would work based on the reviews. After using those my hair became more oily which was new for me. This bar was my last ditch effort, and it worked wonders. Using it: the bar does not lather/suds up in the same way traditional shampoo does. I find that after doing a few swipes of it in my hair it will lather really well and is easy to massage in. But, it feels a bit different than traditional shampoos as to be expected. How long it lasts: My sampler shampoo bar lasted me a little over two months. Storage is really key for how long it will last. I keep mine in a little bar container to keep it dry when not in use. I also only wash my hair 2-3x per week. After using this shampoo now for over 6 months (I've used one sample bar and am using the same full sized bar I bought after the sampler), it works better than any shampoo I have used, traditional or bar. The texture of my hair changed slightly, but in a really positive way. It no longer has any sort of synthetic product film. It feels really soft naturally. Which conditioner works best: Conditioner for me was more difficult to find. I tried the wonder bar which made my hair super greasy. The guardian worked a lot better but becomes really difficult to use when it gets small. My favorite ended up being the balancing conditioner concentrate. Using this shampoo with that, may hair feels incredibly soft and healthy.
