Shake well. Part hair into sections, apply 3--6 drops in each section, and massage gently into scalp. Leave on for 5--10 minutes. Comb through and rinse. Wash and condition hair.

Scalp relief
I grabbed a bottle of this a couple years ago and always have it on hand ever since. I went through an uncomfortable period of severe itching and inflammation on my scalp. So I did some research, learned how to shampoo less often, etc. That helped but my scalp was still dry, itchy, and bumpy. I happened to spot this at the store and figured it was worth a try. At first I used it before every shampoo, but now I only use it as needed- especially after doing any color treatment, or weekly if I am needing to do more frequent shampooing for any reason.
