The Olaplex Healthy Hair Discovery Set has quickly become one of my favorite hair care sets. I love that it includes several products that work together to help strengthen, repair, and improve the overall look and feel of my hair. After using the products, my hair feels softer, smoother, and healthier, with a beautiful shine. I especially love how lightweight my hair feels while still looking nourished and more manageable. This set is perfect if your hair needs a little extra love and you want to build a complete hair care routine. I'm definitely excited to keep using it and see even more results!

I was so excited to try the Olaplex healthy hair discovery set! For reference I have long, thick hair that easily breaks and often gets easily knotted. I suffer from a dryer and flaky scalp, although my roots tend to get oily & the ends of my hair tend to be on the dryer side. That being said, I was super excited to try this kit! I started with the no. 3 repair mask on wet hair and left it in for the desired time frame. I also brushed it through in-shower to ensure it was spread out evenly and to ensure no knots or snarls were in my hair. When rinsing out, my hair already felt sleeker and the product rinsed out quickly! I followed up with the no. 4 shampoo and double shampooed my roots. I always find that a double shampoo works best for me to keep my roots from getting oily faster. The shampoo suds up well and I worked it through the scalp with an in-shower scalp scrubber tool to really work it into my scalp. I noticed I probably used too much of the shampoo as the shower was full of suds so that's on me and next time I'll use less. The shampoo smelled great - a light fruity scent! I then followed with the no. 5 conditioner and applied to the middle and ends of my hair. From here, I re-brushed it through my hair with my in-shower hair brush and let it sit in my hair for a few additional minutes before rinsing. The conditioner rinsed out well also! After the shower & a quick towel dry I followed up with the no 6 bond smoothing leave in and applied a generous amount to the middle and my ends! Then I used the scalp treatment and lightly dabbed parts of my scalp that suffer from dryness and flakiness. One note on the scalp treatment, the applicator is a fine tip which really helps to be able to get the product directly onto the scalp without it getting stuck in your hair. I was worried at first that it would make my roots oily or greasy but it didn't at all. It blended in nicely into the scalp and I just lightly used my fingers and palm to massage it in. One thing I'd note on the scalp treatment is it kind of stinks. I was a little shocked as olaplex products usually smell great but this treatment kind of has a putrid smell. I followed up and blow dried my hair completely which by then, the smell of the scalp treatment had settled and I didn't smell anything after that! I will note I have a very strong sense of smell (like a bloodhound) so maybe it was just me that picked up on the unpleasant smell but figured I'd note it anyways. Good news is that after blow drying I didn't smell it anymore and my hair and scalp just smelled like the other Olaplex products (thank goodness!) Despite the bad smell of the scalp treatment I will say I am impressed with how it works. My scalp feels less itchy after use and more hydrated as well. After blow drying I applied the no 7 hair oil to the middle and to my ends to end my hair style and seal in any moisture and repel any remaining frizz and fly aways! I am giving this kit a 5 star review because overall I was satisfied with the results. My hair feels so silky, looks so shiny & hydrated too, and my scalp also feels less itchy and less tight than usual! I am impressed how well the leave in and hair oil helped with my frizz and fly aways and how defined and silky my hair looks! I also noticed when brushing my hair both in the shower and during blow drying, that I was not losing as much hair as I usually do - there was noticeably less hair left in the brush - which leads me to believe that these products have helped to maintain the strength and integrity of my hair and help cut down on breakage which is incredible! My hair also smells incredible after blow drying and styling -- as if I just left the hair salon!! I think this kit is a great way to try multiple products at once and also develop a dream 5 star hair routine! I'd recommend this kit and brand to anyone looking to level up their current haircare routine! ** I received these products in exchange for my honest review!

The Olaplex Healthy Hair Discovery set is a life changer. The product sizes are great for either travel or to try out the products for the first time without committing to the full size bottles. I love that besides shampoo and conditioner it also brought different treatments such as a leave-in and scalp treatment. It truly is a well rounded set to purchase for yourself or gift. My hair felt soft, nourished, and it made styling my hair so much more easier and manageable. I truly love this set, to me it is a 10/10.

The perfect starter set! Olaplex works for every hair problem. Ever since having my daughter, my hair was my biggest insecurity, and no products seemed to help. I decided to try the Healthy Hair Discovery Set, and after using it for a few weeks, it feels like a total miracle! My frizz is now super easy to control, my hair has a gorgeous shine without looking greasy, and my scalp health is getting much better. I cannot recommend this set enough—do yourself a favor and snag it!
