 Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Conditioner

Leaves a residue in my hair and makes it very tangled. Love the smell though ☹️

I purchased it because of all of the great reviews this product had. Unfortunately, I did not like it. It left my hair feeling thick sticky, and greasy.

It's embarrassing to say that it took me a year to figure out what was causing my hair loss. I bought every growth serum available and changed all my styling products but didn't change my shampoo and conditioner. I lost at least 50% of my hair over the last year before I realized it was my Amika products causing this. I was getting handfuls of hair out in the shower every day and the emotional stress of this was taking a toll on my mental health. Finally, a friend recommended a different shampoo she was using for her her loss and immediately my hair stopped falling out. When I looked back to remember when it had started shedding, it was right around the time I had found these product products. I was using the shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, hair masks, etc.. They are now all in the trash. I looked online and other people have had a similar experience. This is beyond normal shedding, this was something that was going to lead to me being completely bald. I actually went out and bought a wig because I was certain there was no way to stop this. I can't say why this happened but if you were someone who is worried about hair thinning, I would look for something else.

Thee shampoo and conditioner was recommended by someone on the floor. I got it and it has been making my head burn and makes my hair feel heavy.

I love the amika products! My hair stylist has been using them lately & my hair reacts so well! I naturally have a hard time getting moisture into my hair. As a result, I dont wear my hair naturally that often since i find my curls dry & when i lay down or sit in the car, my curls become flat. This has changed thag. My hair and curls have come back to life & ive beem wearing my natural curls again. The biggest thing i noticed is that ill sit in the car or go to sleep wirh mt bonnet on & my curls are still there, i no longer worry about losing my curls from a car ride or from sleeping. I also have highlights in my hair & paired with their color protectant, my hair is looks and feels great. I also notice how the next morning after i washed my hair & added my curl custard, i dont need to do much to my hair. Ill just use my hands to fix a few pieces, spending only a couple minutes & then im ready for the day. No need to add additional hair products for 2-3 days, which im surprised at but happy.
