- Dip the e.l.f. Eyeshadow Brush or e.l.f. Wide Tapered Eyeshadow Brush into Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow (brushes sold separately).
- Gently swipe liquid eyeshadow onto eyelids then use the brush or your fingertip to tap and blend.

Smooth, matte and surprisingly versatile
I actually ended up loving this more than I expected. The texture is super smooth and velvety, and once it dries down it doesn't crease or budge. The color I used was a little too close to my skin tone and slightly ashy on its own, so I used it as a base instead of a standalone shadow and it worked...

I love this product
This is the eyeshadow for those of us who love easy, subtle, polished eye looks that stay put. Just use a tiny dot to start with. Less is really more, and it's buildable. I especially love the way this formula softly blends to the gods -- look Ma, no harsh lines! -- before drying down to unbudgable. I usually use a brush, but a fingertip does fine when I'm in a rush. These shadows dry down velvet smooth and soft. They don't crease on my year-old lids, even without prep. Micellar water takes it off, but plain water won't.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Super pretty color that really makes me blue eyes pop! The formula is long lasting and has a matte finish. It's thick and creamy and doesn't smudge! It's super easy to apply and fits in my makeup bag without taking up too much space.

I found this a little hard to apply - I dotted it on my eye then smudged it out with my fingers. It didn't fade, budge or crease all day! However, the Beige & Bougie is very peachy and Current Mood is more red than plum. Not flattering on me.
Favorite liquid eyeshadow
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received this product from elf cosmetics and Influenstr for free in exchange for my honest review. I received the liquid velvet eyeshadow in the shade currant mood. It is a beautiful cranberry/deep burgundy shade that can be worn everyday, especially in the fall and holiday seasons. The product has no scent which is perfect for those with sensitive skin. I found it to be super lightweight and very blendable. It dries down matte without feeling heavy or dry. The shade itself is very pigmented and the pigment is still very strong after blending it out. I really like these liquid eyeshadows when I'm in a rush or when I want to add some color to my eyes. They didn't transfer or crease after wearing them in this summer heat. I have actually purchased this product prior to receiving this from elf! I really like this product and would highly recommend it
