Before use, pumps should be unlocked.
To Unlock:
- Hold the dip tube (straw-like portion) in one hand, just below where the pump meets the cap.
- Place your other hand on the top of the pump.
- Twist the pump top away from you while twisting the dip tube toward you in the opposite direction.
- The pump will pop up when unlocked.
Pro Tip: You can re-lock the pump for travel or storage to help prevent leaking.
To Install:
- Twist off the cap of your amika liter shampoo or conditioner bottle.
- Insert the unlocked pump into the bottle opening.
- Twist the base securely into place.
- Prime with 1--3 test pumps to release air.
- Repeat for your second bottle.

works but has its flaws
I spent over 45 mins trying to realse the pump so i can use it but I couldn't. I went on yt to find any videos until I found Amikas post on instagram, still couldnt get it to work. I finally went through the comments and was finally able to pop open the pumps beacause of someone's comment.

My fault
I ordered these because I couldnt find the one I usually order and its my fault for not reading the description. These do NOT fit pureology bottles. So I will not get to use them
Meh
Have to tighten extremely hard on the bottle and then turn the pump part counter clockwise for it to pop up. If it doesnt pop, its not tight enough on the bottle.
Pumps are not the average pumps!
Why can't they just work like normal product pumps!? The other girls comment about the pumps saved me!
Careful of the opening size. They DO NOT fit Redken bottles.
