When using this iron make sure you pass the iron through the hair in quick even strokes. I believe the answers about traveling with the mini travel flat iron should say you need an adapter for the configuration of the wall sockets in your destination countries. You should not need a converter because the dual wattage is built into the appliance. My question is whether it works in Japan at 100V or is it just 120-240 like many travel irons?

The BaBylissPRO Mini Straightening Iron with Travel Pouch just has an on / off button, without an option to select the temperature setting. Love the size, pouch not big enough
Bought this for a trip we're taking and also to leave out in our camper. Tiny! But seems to work well. Wish it had a lower heat setting, but there is only "on" or "off." The pouch is a great idea but with the reinforced power cord closest to the flat iron it was nearly impossible to close the pouch...

Not worth the money
I purchased this so I didn't need to take my full size straightner with me. I am returning it as it gets hot on the outside but the plates did not feel hot and it did not really straighten my hair. I was disappointed because i love all of the other Babybliss Products I have used.
Waste of money
I purchased this flat iron in order to do my hair after working out at the gym. Unfortunately, this flat iron was useless. I have textured hair and wanted to smooth out anything that I sweated out with this iron. It didnt straighten it and I hated the fact that I couldn't adjust the temp. I wish I took this back during the return window. Now it sits at the bottom of my drawer and I had to purchase another one.

Not effective. I have short to medium hair. It's curly, and it took me 3 hrs to get my hair done . Love the convenience of having a travel bag, but I wish it actually worked as a rescue shortcut for a fast hairstyle that was manageable for a night out . Definitely returning it. It was really hot, but it did nothing for my hair .
