A Noticeable Difference in My Scalp and Hair
I have been using the OLAPLEX Nº.0.5 Scalp Longevity Treatment as part of my regular hair care routine, applying it directly to my scalp and focusing on the areas around my hairline. I like the lightweight texture because it is easy to apply and does not leave my scalp feeling heavy or greasy. It is also easy to incorporate into my routine without making my hair feel weighed down. I decided to give this product four stars because I did notice a positive difference, but I would not describe the results as a dramatic or instant transformation. What I noticed most was that my scalp looked healthier and my hair appeared fuller around the hairline. When comparing my before and after photos, I can see that the area looks more filled in and my hair has a healthier overall appearance. I think this product is a good option for someone who wants to focus on scalp care and maintaining healthy-looking hair. Revival and healthy new scalp and regrowth of hair
I was excited for this scalp treatment because my scalp can my dry and I was curious how it'd work out. Boy was I surprised! To begin with the packaging is absolutely easy to use and perfect for what it's meant to do; having a small tip needle nose applicator for a precise application. Squeezing and controlling how much you release onto your scalp with tip that controls flow with a slower release. I applied to my scalp in rows in total of four rows, then massaged to properly absorb the product onto my scalp and I use at night as an overnight formula at times and also on my wet hair after showering before styling, 4 times a week. I've noticed my hair is growing back healthier and stronger because my scalp is healthier and not as dry and overall healthier. With continued use my scalp only has improved and is healthier and my hair regrowth has improved to my misbelief! Because after all it starts at the scalp for healthy hair! It was okay
I cannot even lie, this one just did not do much for me. I used it consistently for a few weeks and really gave it a fair shot, but I kept waiting for that moment where I would see or feel a difference, and it just never happened. My scalp felt the same and my hair felt the same. Nothing stood out. I will say it is very easy to use. The applicator makes it simple to get directly to your scalp without making a mess, and it did not cause any irritation at all, which I appreciate because my scalp can be sensitive. If you are someone who wants something lightweight and gentle, especially if your scalp gets irritated easily, I could see this working for you. For me, it might just come down to timing. Smells horrendous
Received this product as a mini gift with purchase and was excited to test it out. Typically I love olaplex scents like their shampoos, conditioners, no5 (leave in hair treatment), and no7. This one smelled like old dirty socks and that itself is an understatement. At first I thought I was trippin out about the smell but my bf came to kiss me on the forehead, made a stank face, and asked if I even washed my hair bc my scalp smelled horrible. The smell slowly went away after blowdrying and it settled down overnight. I'm not sure if it was the batch I received but aside from the smell, it didn't really do anything for my scalp so it went straight into the trash!
