For pores, it will give a smoother look, but it’s not a heavy pore-filling primer, so the blurring effect is more subtle. For best results, apply a thin layer just where you have redness, then follow with your foundation. This doesn't address dark spots, but take a look at our Travel Size Photo Finish Resurface Primer with Glycolic Acid. This primer will boost cell turnover to promote brighter skin and even texture. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.I used the primer after sunscreen and before foundation. It helped cover redness on my cheeks and chin. The smell is pretty light for me which I like. The primer helped my makeup last the whole day. No irritation so far. It's pretty good primer compared to others I used.

It's not the best product from the brand—I've definitely tried better ones. I think the primer feels very smooth, almost like a serum. It's not sticky at all, very lightweight, and comfortable on the skin. However, it didn't do much in terms of reducing redness. I don't have very pronounced redness on my face, but I didn't notice a significant difference after applying the product. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.

As someone with combination skin and rosacea, I have found that this product does an excellent job of covering the redness on my face. The formula is very moisturizing and sits well under my makeup. It is lightweight, feels comfortable on the skin, and effectively controls oil throughout the day.
