I don't know if maybe this depends on which color you get? I got the "blush" elastics, and it takes exactly one use to stretch them out. Love these Chocolate hair elastics! They are velvety soft and non damaging to the hair. Made extremely well and in a generous size. Good for someone with super thick hair, but also good for someone with fine hair. I will definitely buy them again. I would like to get the other colors as well. My cat likes them too, so I have to make sure to keep her away from my hair elastics.

I have waist length fine, wavy hair that is prone to tangles. These hair ties have worked well for me so far. They hold my hair in place without pulling or breaking. I just started using them so I will wait and see if they stretch out over time, but so far they're perfect! With the BOGO 50% sale, it's worth stocking up!

Great hold! Easy to wrap up hair and easy removal. Less breakage than with typical hair ties. These also hold up great: I have been using the same hair tie for about a month now, and it is holding my hair in place like it is new.
