I love the idea of a plastic-free shampoo. I have used shampoo bars before. This one seemed difficult to get a good lather, but not impossible. It didn't do much for my hair. It felt a bit more dry than usual, and became oily quicker. I used the product twice, but happy to go back to my usual shampo...

I can't understand how this product has so many good reviews. There's nothing about this that I liked. It does not lather, it smells weird, it leaves your hair feeling like there's a film on it. Terrible. Returning.

I've been using another brand shampoo and conditioner bar for a while and have been liking it. So when I got the opportunity to try this new bar from Tree to Tub, I was excited! It lathers well, the color is really pretty, and it did a nice job on my hair. You can definitely smell the rosemary, but it fades nicely so you don't smell that all day. Then my teenage daughter ran out of her usual shampoo bar and I let her try this. Needless to say she claimed it and it has now become hers. She just finished the bar and asked for more. Eagerly awaiting the restock! P.S. bars are so convenient for travel.

Love this shampoo bar! It lathers up great and has a gentle rosemary smell, not overbearing. I'm 65 years old and my hair is thinning and after using this shampoo bar, my hair looked and felt thicker. I also appreciate that it is environmentally friendly, I don't have to throw out a plastic bottle when it's done. I also let my 16-year-old granddaughter use it and she LOVED it?

I was a bit skeptical to use the shampoo bar. The volumizing biotin shampoo and conditioner have been my favorites for several years. After a couple weeks of using the shampoo bar exclusively, I'm happy to report that the bar works just as well for my hair! I have thin, straight hair and this leaves my hair clean but not stripped. I can almost skip the conditioner as well. My hair is so soft and shiny. The bar has held up great so far. It is not getting soft as I have experienced with other bars, that get used up way too fast. Love not having disposable bottles as well as the convenience of a bar for the gym, or travel. I will continue using the bar. Hope that Tree to Tub is planning on a bar conditioner?

I received this free sample of Rosemary and Rice water hair strengthening shampoo in bar form free from Tree to Tub in exchange for my honest review. I have never tried a bar shampoo before and I have always been cuas to how well they worked. I like that it does not have any unnecessary packaging, but I feel that could also cause you to overuse the product. I'm not sure what you are supposed to do with it between uses. Do you leave it on the shelf in your shower like soap? Does it get put into a soap dish? I'm not sure the proper method to store it. But the actual shampoo bar does work well. It lathers much better than I expected it to. It has a beautiful light lavender fragrance and it did clean my hair very well. It didn't leave any residue or feel weird when using at all. It was just something I wasn't used to. I would be more open to using this on a regular basis if I was a little more educated on how to properly store these bars between uses and keep them clean and fresh. This is a wonderful idea and I like the concept a lot.
