I have on and off dandruff all my life. This bout has been BAD and different than my normal bouts. I think before it was from scalp oiliness when I lived in a very humid climate, but now in a dry climate I have smaller flakes that break so easily and cause a much worse mess than the big, oily ones. ...Anyway, I've tried everything... All the famous dandruff shampoos, a few random dandruff shampoos, scalp serums/scrubs, dandruff cream, physical exfoliater... I think also that most dandruff products advertise to help dandruff with oily, build-up origins, which I now didn't have. So I walked past the aisle and this line had just came out. I decided WHY not, because I skipped out on the brigeo scalp line (it was too similar to a lot of products I already tried), and the ingredients and method was unique. Yes, after finding out the problem was dry scalp, I've tried moisturizing my scalp (in vain). I normally believe it's the technique and not the product, but this time it unfortunately was the product. It is NOT cheap but I've spent too much money over many smaller solutions, so I decided I should try it a few times and return it if I didn't like it. First time I tried it, unfortunately, it almost completely cleared my scalp. Even 2 rounds of nizoral doesn't do that anymore. With a heavy heart and light wallet, I knew I had to forgo the almost $40 and keep this treatment. It not only made my scalp feel good and healthy, it was so light. And when my hair dried, my scalp looked so much better. The dispenser is precise, so I use very little at a time. I'm not a frequent hair washer(1x week), though I should be nowadays bc of the dandruff, but I digress, I have way too much dark, thick hair and it is uncontrollable and hard to clean and takes the entire day to dry. Usually it's fine since I take great care of my hair, but the dandruff has made having this much hair unbearable. I know from how this products works that if I washed my hair 3x a week and used it after every wash, I probably would have no dandruff... I've had promising results after 2x washes a week. Which is why I recommend it fully. TDLR: If you've used all the normal dandruff solutions and they're not working, you likely have dry scalp dandruff, not oily scalp dandruff. In that case, this stuff it works.
