Used the full Scalp Sync line with no improvement
I used the full Scalp Sync line and unfortunately didn't notice any improvement in my scalp. The scent was okay. I loved the lather. Overall the line just didn't do much for me. I've since switched to a clarifying shampoo that has made a much more noticeable difference in my scalp.
Most effective dandruff shampoo I've tried
I've struggled with pretty bad dandruff my entire life and I've tried dozens of products over the years. I even tried the micro exfoliating shampoo from this same brand prior to trying this one. This shampoo is far more effective, and has been the most effective anti-dandruff shampoo I've tried in my entire life. The visible flaking has gone down so much, and I no longer have to worry about seeing the flakes begin to accumulate along my hairline after only two or three days. (I have thick afro 4C hair, and I wash mg hair once a week.) The shampoo lathers up great if your scalp and hair are clean prior to application. I find to do be helpful to do a scalp scrub or apply some aloe vera straight onto my scalp to help disrupt the oil in my hair and prepare my hair for the shampoo. I follow it with a hydrating shampoo to focus on my hair strands, even though I wouldn't characterize this shampoo as one that provides a "squeaky" aka dry finish. My hair has never looked healthier. The longer I use it, the less itching and flakes I see. It's on the pricier side, but worth the investment.
NEW FORMULA- ADDED FRAGRANCE

I am so disappointed. I have used this shampoo for years as it is one of the only unfragranced and clean shampoos that work well. If you compare ingredients listed on an old, clear bottle to the new opaque bottle, you will now see high up in the list "Fragrance". This is saddening since it's widely known that Fragrance can be made up of many toxic chemicals. Shame on Briogeo for making this change.
It does lather
I have seen recent reviews saying that this product does not lather. If it doesnt that means you need to clarify your hair becaue theirs to much build up. I wash my hair once monthly actually so thats kind of my ritual. I feel a difference in my scalp so thats two washes since I bought it.

I used this shampoo twice in a row. Left my hair gummy with no body. I have used other products by this brand that were fine.
