The Name Speaks Volumes
When you read Strong Hold Gel, this is not an overstatement; this is a fact. I have only found one other gel with this type of hold. I have fine, high porosity, low/medium density with 2b = 3a curly/wavy hair. I have tried other gels making this claim, and they cannot touch what this gel does for me...

This product has some usefulness. Im not sure about those who say it isn't a strong hold, but to me it gives that "hair stays molded until I break it up or wash it" look. Best Gel Ever
I have 3 type curls and this is the best gel I've tried. There is a cast when it dries but its easy to scrunch out. My curls last for days and i get compliments when I use it. I made the mistake of trying other gels but I always come back to this one.

Definitely a strong hold but hard to get the crunch out. Would love if they made something in between their light and strong hold gels.
Amazing hold and frizz control!
I have fine-to-medium hair, but a lot of it, and this gel has been such a pleasant surprise! My hair is a mix of 2A and 2B waves, and this gave me excellent hold while keeping frizz under control. The best part is that my wash day lasted three full days, and my hair looked good every day with very little refreshing. It does leave a noticeable cast and a slightly "gelled" look on day one, so if you're looking for an ultra-soft, invisible hold, this may not be it. But for me, that's the trade-off for the incredible longevity and definition. My waves stayed intact, frizz stayed minimized, and the style held up far better than most gels I've tried.

Disappointed
I got this Rizo's gel after falling in love with the mousse by the same brand. I figured high hold gel would leave a good case but it didnt leave one at all and left my hair dry and the curls frizzing. By the time i had finished hover diffusing it looked like my hair was on day 3-4, not freshly washed and styled. I am so disappointed. I used the curl cream, mousse and strong hold gel but i will likely be returning everything except the mousse. Very sad i really wanted to love this system
