Not all mouth tape is equal! I'm a dental hygienist and mouth taping is incredibly beneficial in so many ways. This particular design is so good in that you can still talk, sneeze, breathe if you need to, you can still wear chapstick at night which is one reason I hated mouth tape, safe for skin A...ND this has helped reduce upper lip wrinkles as well. (Take it for what it's worth) Now for the physiological benefits outside of the great design. First as a dental hygienist mouth taping is crucial for a healthy mouth due to keeping your mouth moist. Saliva contains minerals that work to remineralize your teeth while you sleep and also keeps a neutral ph so the acid is lowered while your teeth rebuild drastically reducing inflammation, gingivitis and tooth decay. Taping keeps your jaw in a better position for airway so you sleep deeper due the fact you're not waking to breathe which in turn helps you wake up rested and able to handle stress the next day which keeps your cortisol in check which helps with weight and hormones and nitric oxide. I now am able to get out of bed at 5AM and get to the gym without hitting snooze or feeling groggy. I sleep without waking during the night. I don't have a slump in energy the next day because I've slept so well. Sleeping well is huge in overall health and this mouthtape along with some magnesium oil is truly life changing. I will never be without mouthtape and particularly with this company because it's a perfect design, made in the USA and is non toxic. Basically checks all the right boxes and I'm grateful to have found Vio2tape. Thanks to Lindsey for introducing this to us in the dental community and in turn to all of our patients!
