Apply to clean, damp hair, take 1 to 5 pumps to palms of the hands and apply to the lengths and ends. Comb through and blow-dry. Finish with 1-2 pumps on dry hair and repeat daily if desired.

Stinks bad!
This smells absolutely awful! I love so many of the Wella products. The Ultimate Repair line (red bottle(s)) is absolutely amazing and smells heavenly. In that line I have the shampoo, conditioner, mask, repair spray and leave-in. I am so thankfully i tested this before i put it in my hair. I would have been forced to redo my hair bc the smell of this is so awful. Another reviewer compared it to gas station cologne. I think the smell of this is so much worse. Maybe it works well but I'll never know bc i cannot get past the stench.

This Wella shampoo and conditioner set did nothing for my hair and i really wanted it to work!! I almost wonder if I got a fake because the conditioner has no smell and did nothing to soften my hair.

Since the reviews for Wella products get all blended up I want to be clear that this review is for the Ultimate Smooth Silky Milk for people like myself who read reviews to help make buying decisions. My hair is highlighted blonde, middle of my back long, and a mix of 1C/2A type that is medium density with thin hair strands. I recently starting using the Wella Smooth line which I like and find myself reaching for it about 1 out of every 2-3 washes because I love the shine. I just picked up the Silky Milk to use as a leave in conditioner but find that I still need to use a detangler since it doesn't provide the slip that my highlighted hair needs unless I use way more product than the five pumps recommended (and then my hair would be stringy and way over conditioned). I find that this works better for me on my second day hair. I apply a couple of pumps to my hands and smooth it over my hair then apply a little of the Wella Smooth hair oil to my ends and my hair looks perfectly smooth, shiny and it helps to keep any frizz way down. If you have thin hair and don't have to deal with frizz you may find this product to be too heavy. I find it gives me beautiful shine and helps me to condition and style my second day hair.
