PERFECT AS HEAT PROTECTANT! 🤩

I've been trying the 7 Shine Serum 2-in-1 Weightless Shine Hair Oil & Repair Mist, and I've used it both on my natural hair and before straightening it. First, I really liked it just for adding shine to my natural hair. It gives a pretty noticeable shine without making my hair look greasy, and it al...so helps with frizz. The finish is really beautiful. But honestly, I liked it so much more as a heat protectant. I've tried other heat protectants that either make my hair look greasy after I straighten it, or I feel like they don't protect my hair enough and my hair ends up looking dry and kind of burned. With this one, I felt like my hair was much better protected, and for some reason, the shine looked even better after using heat. One thing I did notice is that when you run the flat iron through your hair after applying the oil, you can hear a little "tssss" sound. I didn't feel like my hair was burning or anything like that, but I definitely noticed the sound. What really surprised me, though, was how good my ends looked afterward. My ends are pretty dry and I have some split ends, so normally when I straighten my hair, my ends can look a little rough. But with this product by Olapex, they looked so much better, they looked smoother, healthier, and had this really pretty shine that I loved. I also absolutely love the scent. My hair smelled so good after straightening it, and it didn't have that burnt-hair smell at all. The scent actually lasted for at least 24 hours on my hair. It's also really easy to use. You just have to shake it really well before every use. Even though it has both oil and water, once you shake it and put a little in your hands, the texture feels almost watery and lightweight, so it doesn't feel heavy or greasy. I really liked the way the product comes out. It's a spray, so it's super easy to apply, from the mid-lengths to the ends. The spray comes out really nicely—it's not just one concentrated stream, but it's also not so much product going everywhere that you feel like you're wasting half of it. It gives a nice, even amount that covers the hair really well. I brushed it through my hair afterward to make sure the product is distributed evenly. Overall, it leaves my hair looking really pretty, shiny, smooth, and much healthier. But personally, I would choose it as a heat protectant over using it on my natural hair, because that's where I noticed the biggest difference. My hair looked and felt so much better after straightening it, especially my ends, and I just loved the final result.
