Section wet hair and distribute 1-2 quarter sized amounts onto fingertips, raking from ends to roots. Scrunch or finger coil to encourage curl pattern. Diffuse or air dry. For extra moisture, pair with OCOA Hydrating Curl Cream.

This gel is great! It works wonderfully at keeping my hair frizz-free and hydrated at the same time. I like that it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky at all, and it has a lightweight hold. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a clean gel.

This is the holy grail of curly hair gels. I usually hate gels because they make my hair feel like dry ramen noodles. This gel gives me the most beautiful with a slight hold. I just scrunch it in diffused it and my curls last for three days straight. It feels so clean and lightweight too.

It smells great, it has great texture and viscosity, and the times I have used it my curls were extra defined and fairly frizz free. The hard part about reviewing curly hair products is that getting your hair right is like a daily science experiment. It can be one product doing all the work or it could be a combination of products working well together, it can be dependent on so many factors. For example I live in Florida where humidity is hard on curls. But I have also experienced enough gels that were an immediate no for me, so I am going to be optimistic about this one.
