Not like the plastique volumnizer
I purchased this to replace the discontinued plastique volumnizer, which was perfect for my fine hair. This was not it.

AMAZING PRODUCT
I love this stuff. It does everything a curl product should do: enhances and retains my curls, and holds down the frizz. All of their products I have tried have been fantastic!!
Obsessed
I was looking for products that would keep my curls looking fresh between wash days, even with my rigorous daily workouts. Paired with the gel, this product has been a game changer. My hair stays defined and looks amazing without needing any refreshes. When I shower, I simply put my hair in a pineapple, and the steam, plus a few water droplets, is all it takes to revive my curls. It keeps my hair looking fresh until my next wash day!
Good light-medium gel
Im not a gel person since I have fine hair but this is one of the best light-medium hold gels I've tried. It naturally stretches and individually defines my curls. It leaves my hair shiny and soft. It doesnt take too much product either. It combines well with a good amount of other products too. Not great with humidity though. Btw I have type 3, fine, medium density hair.

This Liquid Effects works much better for my fine wavy/curly hair than the gel mousse. I layer with the Beach Spray.

I'm not sure if I have figured out how much to apply. It seems to leave my hair crunchy. I regularly use the recoil and the mousse gel and I absolutely love those products!!!! I was trying something new. I am still up in the air about liquid effects and need to figure out amount for my hair!
