 Set & Flow Active Heatless Curling Headband

I have all the heatless curl varieties. There is a ton of different curl patterns you can achieve with the different types of curlers and techniques. this is not a one size fits all arena. There are many factors to get the results you want. This is one of my favs and most comfortable to wear at night. I really like the bendable wire feature. this works well with my layered hair cut because I want my curls to start mid length not from the top. curls last for days and day 2 and on is my favorite.

I'm one of those people who simply do not know how to curl my hair with a curling iron. This right here is a game changer & I use it several nights a week & wake up with effortless curls! And there's NO HEAT DAMAGE!!

This is a great concept, but could use some improvements. My hair falls just a couple inches below my shoulders and it is exceptionally thick, so this product could use four parts instead of two because I cannot wrap all my hair around the two parts. My hair from the back is barely secured because there's not enough space and it unravels itself. Additionally, this is not the smoothest material. It definitely causes frizz and some breakage. If you're going to use this, I would highly recommend using a smoothing product with it. In fact, there is no way you can wrap your face framing layers around the headband, as some social media tutorials demonstrate, without using a smoothing product. However, I will say that it does work, because the parts of my hair that stayed wrapped had beautiful waves, but because my hair is so thick, it wasn't curls. Also, I guess I have an abnormally small head, because the headband is actually too big for my head. When you watch all of the influencer tutorials, it appears that the headbands sit at the front of their head, and I feel like when I put it on it sets more to the back of my head.

All the influencers you see using this, if you search for reviews, have super long hair. Even for their long hair, it seems to only curl the bottom half of their hair, and it looks strange. It also seems impossible to figure out how to use this effectively for shoulder-length hair. I have experimented with putting the tails at the top of my head rather than at my neck, but wrapping hair around the tails is extremely frustrating. I was drawn to the idea of a headband that could style hair and keep it out of my face while exercising, but it doesn't work well, and I regret this purchase.

I own and have tried manyyy heatless curlers. They stay in my hair better than heated curls. I was excited to try this one in particular because of the built in headband. Overall... it's mid. The curls it leaves you with are very loose waves-- which I actually like the look of, but they're so loose that they don't last. I do really like how you can twist the ends of it around your hair. It keeps them untangled and included in the curl. That's def my favorite feature. My biggest gripe with it is that the headband is SO TIGHT. Like painfully tight. The middle of it leaves an indent in my forehead and it lowkey caused me a headache l o l. I have a pretty small head too, so idk why it feels so tight. I've tried to stretch it out with my hands before wearing which helps temporarily. I would use this in short bursts like when working out or maybe even running errands, but I wouldn't sleep with it in or wear it longer than a couple hours.
