Don't work on my thick hair

I was hoping these would work after reading the reviews. Putting one in my hair , it wouldn't stay put.
Do not buy
These headbands have a weird fit and tend to slide up on my head- they don't feel secure at all. I do have thick hair so maybe if yours is thinner they would work?
